What we do
Most of our customers don't have anyone in-house looking after this — it lands on whoever happens to be free. So we keep the explanations plain, and we won't sell you more than you actually need.

How it works
You shouldn't need to understand any of this to buy it sensibly. So we start by coming to see what you've got — then put the options in writing, in language you can hand to whoever signs things off.
In person if that suits you better — often it's quicker than describing it down the phone. We'll see what you're paying for now and what's actually annoying you about it. No charge, and no obligation.
A short written recommendation with the price and the contract length on it, in plain English — set side by side with what you're paying today, so the difference is obvious. If what you've already got is fine, we'll tell you that instead of selling you something.
We deal with the suppliers, the engineers and the dates, and give you a realistic day rather than an optimistic one. Your phone number moves across without ever going dead.
One number to ring, answered by someone who already knows how your setup is put together. If a supplier is at fault, we chase them — you shouldn't have to sit in their queue.
Everyone should have a friend in the business.
That's the part we care about most — being someone you can just ring and ask, without it turning into a sales call. Most of our work comes from people passing our name on, which only happens if we've been straight with them.

Barrico looks after the internet, phones and computers for small businesses, charities and clubs around the UK — the sort of places where sorting out the broadband falls to whoever happens to be free that afternoon.
Two things are making that harder at the moment. The old telephone network is being retired, so a lot of analogue lines and older phone systems will simply stop working and need replacing. And now that so much of the working day runs online, a slow or flaky connection stops being a nuisance and starts costing real money.
Neither is difficult to deal with, so long as somebody actually deals with it. That's the job. We'll come out and see you, explain the choices without the jargon, and give you a straight price.
